Aims and Scope:
Heredity covers a broad range of genetics topics. It publishes papers in ecological, population and evolutionary genetics, including human population genetics; genomics, proteomics and post-genomics as applied to evolutionary questions; biometrical and statistical genetics; animal and plant breeding, evo-devo and cytogenetics. Papers report new theories and the results of important original research. In addition, Heredity publishes regular news and commentaries and reviews.

Readership: Researchers with an interest in population genetics (including human), ecological genetics, evolutionary genetics, proteomics, genomics, cytogenetics, applied genetics, quantitative genetics, plant and animal breeding.
