Aims and Scope:
Journal of Perinatology is an interdisciplinary journal that provides all members of the perinatal/neonatal health care team with information pertinent to improving maternal, fetal and neonatal care. Coverage includes maternal/fetal medicine, the neonate and the follow-up of the infant and child, and new developments and technologies in neonatal intensive care.
Specialists in perinatology diagnose and treat medical conditions that are present prior to pregnancy, medical complications that arise during pregnancy and obstetric complications that arise in an otherwise healthy pregnancy.
Typical disorders and conditions include hypertensive disorders, diabetes, intrauterine growth retardation, perinatal infections, prematurity and low birth weight infants.

Professionals in the fields of neonatal/perinatal care, obstetrics, gynaecology, pediatrics, neonatal/perinatal nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and nutritionists.
