Nature Photonics

Aims and Scope:
Launched in January 2007, Nature Photonics is a new monthly journal dedicated to publishing top-quality, peer-reviewed research in all areas of light generation, manipulation and detection.

Coverage extends from research into the fundamental properties of light and how it interacts with matter through to the latest designs of optoelectronic device and emerging applications that exploit photons. It publishs review articles, research papers, News and Views pieces and research highlights summarizing the latest scientific findings in optoelectronics and optics.

In addition, the journal features a "Nature Photonics Technology Focus every other month. Each Technology Focus contains a unique mix of industry-related articles that will cover market analysis, important emerging applications and the latest product developments within a particular technology theme.

Readership:
The journal will be a unique resource for chemists, physicists and materials scientists as well as engineers working in photonics and optoelectronics based both in academia and industry.
