Aims and Scope:
Nature Reviews Microbiology takes
an uniquely integrated approach to microbiology,
bridging fundamental microbial research - prokaryotic,
eukaryotic and viral - with its clinical, industrial
and environmental applications.
Nature Reviews Microbiology publishes the highest quality Reviews and Perspectives contributed by the leading researchers in the field, highlighting key developments in our understanding of bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. In addition, every issue contains critical summaries of significant research papers and a unique 'News & Analysis' section featuring updates on the latest advances in microbial genomics and infectious diseases - in collaboration with the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the WHO.
